Valdemudarra reservoir
Sobre
In the same basin of the Duratón river, but outside its course, between the villages of Aldeayuso and Langayo, is the Valdemudarra dam and reservoir. It belongs to the Duero river basin and has a surface area of 33 hectares and a capacity of 5 cubic hectometres.
It is a water resource that supplies water to the irrigation community of the nearby lands, with two water uses:
- one from the Duratón river, which draws water from November to March, and
- another from the River Duero, with no time limit, which completes the water supply that cannot be supplied from the Valdemudarra stream.
As this is a water-rich area, you can enjoy bird watching (birding), especially migratory birds, which stop here to get their water supply.
TIPS FOR VISITORS:
- Remember that you are in a natural environment, preserving it is everybody’s business.
- Make sure that bathing and other sports are allowed.
- Respect the regulations in force at all times.
