This website has been designed and programmed following the guidelines of the WAI initiative (Web Accessibility Initiative, www.w3.org/wai ), which sets international standards in the creation of web content accessible to everyone and the Ruta del Vino Ribera del Duero is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, on accessibility of public sector websites and applications for mobile devices.

a. Compliance status and non-accessible content

This website is partially compliant with RD 1112/2018 due to the exceptions listed below.

  1. Non-compliance with RD 1112/2018 in the following points:

– There are unlabelled form controls, whereby the name and function of these cannot be determined by software; the states, properties and values that can be assigned by the user cannot be specified by software; and changes to these elements are not available for consultation by user applications, including technical aids.   2. Content is not within the scope of the applicable legislation: There may be office files in PDF or other formats published before 20 September 2018 that do not fully comply with all accessibility requirements. There may be third-party content that is not developed by or under the control of this Unit, such as office automation files corresponding to public employment announcements from different public bodies that are to be published on this site.

The method used to prepare the statement has been an evaluation carried out by a third party (SERINZA SOLUTIONS SL).

Semi-automatic validation tools:

– W3C (X) HTML Validator: This is a free online code validation service that checks the conformity of documents against W3C grammars and other (X) HMTL standards.

– SortSite is another online tool, from the private company Powermapper Software, which allows you to check the accessibility of a web page against both WCAG 1.0 and 2.1 and other accessibility standards such as US Section 508.

– The Wave is a free validation tool based on WCAG 2.1 and US Section 508 standards. It is developed by WebAIM (Accessibility in Mind), a non-profit organisation of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University. This validator not only performs a detailed accessibility analysis but also provides information about the content and structure of pages to help developers perform those tasks that require personal decision-making.

– Axe Accessibility is a free validation tool that can be added as an extension for different browsers such as Chrome or Firefox.

– Tawdis.net Used to check for accessibility problems and to locate these errors in source code.

– WCAG Color Contrast Checker, add-on for Chorme, is used to check for accessibility issues.

Manual check:

– Confirm that the font size can be increased and that the page is usable at a large font size.

– Check that there is good visual highlighting of the element receiving focus both by mouse and keyboard.

– Test pages at different screen resolutions and/or with different window sizes.

– Display pages so that they automatically take on the ‘High Contrast Black’ or similar appearance selected in the computer’s system options.

– Check the contrast between background and text, both in content and images.

This website applies the requirements of the UNE-EN 301549:2022 Standard considering the exceptions of RD 1112/2018.

The last accessibility review was carried out on 8 October 2024.

The website is optimised for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher versions and the latest versions of FireFox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome. The minimum recommended web resolution is 1280×1024.

The website is designed for Responsive viewing, which means that it is optimally displayed on tablet and mobile devices. On these devices it is optimised for viewing on the latest versions of Chrome for mobile, Firefox for mobile, Safari mobile, Opera Mini and Android’s native browser.
