The Riaza river (a tributary of the Duero on its left bank) is the great meeting point in Milagros, a town in Burgos and a riverside town that enjoys this enviable leisure area that you can see in the photographs. It is a large landscaped area with tables and other facilities for enjoying a good family day out. The riverbed is very calm and the water barely covers the surface of the river , making it ideal for children to swim. Right next to it you will find a children’s playground. This leisure area on the banks of the Riaza is surrounded by municipal sports facilities (football pitch and swimming pool), making it a successful entertainment area, at the foot of the A1 motorway and just 10 minutes from Aranda de Duero.
