Located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena, the first hotel with wellness area in Castilla y León, is located in one of the best preserved Cistercian Monasteries in Europe . Its building dates back to the 12th century and has been converted into an exclusive tourist complex with 79 rooms, all of them of exclusive design, and has more than 18,000 square metres of floor space.

The wellness area covers more than 2,000 square metres, with 16 treatment cabins, a thermal pool and the San Pedro Chapel experience. Its mineral-medicinal waters are indicated for digestive and metabolic treatments, beneficial for liver cell activity and ideal for slimming therapies and stress processes.

It has rooms for holding events for up to 200 people, a children’s area, gymnasium, organic vegetable garden, spice garden and 4.5 hectares of vineyards.

The Hotel completes its facilities with a wide gastronomic offer, consisting of:

• The à la carte restaurant “Converso” whose cuisine fuses traditional and modern dishes with top quality products from the area and its own organic garden.
• The “Bodega de los Monjes” where you can taste the best wines with denomination of origin or enjoy its menu of light dishes.

The monastery also houses the headquarters of the Las Edades del Hombre Foundation.
