The personality of Dehesa de los Canónigos is born from the love for the land and the grapes and the meticulous care for the quality of its wines, which gives them a stately character with its own notable character, externalising the goodness of its varieties.

The first premise is to pay special attention to the quality of the grapes, respecting their primary potential to the maximum and it is from this that the winemaking process is decided, which together with a controlled refinement in barrels allows us to perceive a great potential of aromas and flavours in the wines.

The effort and dedication of the Sanz-Cid family for more than forty years has meant that Dehesa de los Canónigos is home to seventy hectares of vineyards that surround the winery and extend to the Duero River, whose waters mark the boundary of the estate.

Dehesa de los Canónigos, a group of small buildings located within a historic estate where modernity and tradition coexist, is a meeting place with the culture of wine and the emblematic red wines of the family winery. It is the ideal setting for holding events and enjoying wine tourism with members of the family and leading figures in the Spanish hotel and catering industry.

The “Road to Solideo” is our most complete visit. A tour of the vineyard, winemaking and ageing rooms, as well as the family gardens. The tour ends in the Solideo room with a tasting of two of our most emblematic wines: Dehesa de los Canónigos (crianza) and Solideo (reserva), both accompanied by an aperitif. The total duration of the visit is one hour and a half, and the cost is 25 €/person.
