The Bodega de Durón winery is located in Roa. It acquired its first vineyards in 1982 and has a capacity for 1,000 American oak barrels. Its wines have won numerous awards.

The grape varieties Tinta del País, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, used at Bodegas Durón, produce excellent wines, distinguished in recent years with prestigious awards. Among others, the Gran Zarcillo de Oro for the Gran Reserva 1991, the Zarcillo de Plata for the Reserva 1995 and the Bacchus de Plata for the Gran Reserva 1990.

In addition to the winery, Durón has its own restaurant, decorated in harmony with the rest of the winery and with impressive views of its vineyards. The menu works with local products through standardised menus, although it adapts to all the requests and suggestions of the clients to create personalised menus. The Castilian cuisine is the most outstanding, as it is to be expected, in fact Durón is a member of the Asadores de Lechazo Association, but they also work with other types of cuisine, always depending on the client’s needs.
