In the heart of the historic centre of Aranda de Duero you will discover the traditional suckling lamb roasted in a wood-fired oven and a new way of looking at traditional Castilian cuisine. You can also visit its historic 15th century wine cellar, made up of a series of underground galleries 12 metres deep, in the very heart of the old quarter of Aranda de Duero and under the restaurant. They were excavated between the 13th and 14th centuries, although the first evidence of the Aranda wine cellars dates back to the 15th century. Free visit all year round during restaurant opening hours.
Its decoration includes a winepress beam, threshing tables, a model of an old winepress…
At the bar you can taste, by the glass or bottle, a wide range of Ribera del Duero wines and a wide range of tapas and raciones.
The restaurant’s menu is very varied, with the typical dish and speciality being suckling lamb roasted in a wood-fired oven, as well as a succulent range of traditional Castilian cuisine, with innovative touches.
The wine list is distinguished by a wide range of Ribera del Duero and other regions, with a total of more than 450 references, well preserved in the historic underground cellar below the restaurant.
