This is the visitor reception centre for the Hoces del Río Riaza Natural Park, located in the riverside town of Montejo de la Vega de la Serrezuela.

At the Park House they will provide you with all the information you need to plan your visit to this Nature Reserve. You can also apply for the necessary authorisations to carry out the activities that require them. They also have a permanent exhibition on the natural values of the Natural Park and you will find all the information you need to make the most of this protected natural area. The contents of this exhibition are aimed, among other things, at family tourism.

Inside the Hoces del Río Riaza Natural Park House you will find the following contents:

• Get to know the park. Come and find out how the gorges were formed, its flora, fauna and ecosystems.
• Birds. You will learn about the morphological characteristics of the birds and you will be able to see life-size reproductions of the most representative birds of this natural space.
• The memory corner. Here you will remember the inhabitants of Linares del Arroyo, a village submerged under the waters of the reservoir that bears its name.
• Live and direct. A remote-controlled camera located in a griffon vulture’s nest will allow you to observe its habits and reproduction cycle.
• Audiovisual room. An audiovisual will show you all the elements that make up this environment.
• CIDA- Environmental Information and Documentation Centre. Thematic library on the Natural Park, as well as on different environmental issues. It has books, magazines and audiovisual material with loan service.

The guides at the Park House will provide you with information leaflets about the Network of Natural Spaces of Castilla y León, as well as about this Natural Park, part of which is located in the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin area.

In this magnificent setting, several companies offer activities for all those who want to enjoy an unforgettable experience in such a valuable natural environment: hiking routes, agri-food industry or rural accommodation.
