The Tourist Apartments “Las Escuelas” are located in Vadocondes, a town in the Ribera del Duero region of Burgos, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest with the category of Historic Site by agreement of 64/200, of 10 July, by the Junta de Castilla y León.

This municipality located on the banks of the Duero has a notable historical and artistic heritage, with such emblematic elements as the two entrance gates to the town, vestiges of the walled environment that the municipality once had and which dates back to the 15th century, or the jurisdictional roll located in the Plaza Manuel Mendoza and dating from the same period. Undoubtedly, an interesting visit.

At the same time, Vadocondes has a rich natural heritage. Its location, in a meander of the Duero, allows travellers the possibility of hiking routes along the river, or water activities such as canoeing, as the course of the river is navigable along this stretch.
