Museum Casa de las Bolas Permanent Collection Félix Cañada
Aranda de Duero
About
Municipal Museum of Aranda de Duero, which houses paintings from the private collection of Félix Cañada. They were donated by the art collector as his childhood was linked to the city of Aranda de Duero and he has fond memories of his years in this city. There are paintings dating from the 15th century to the present day.
Sacred art, portraits, landscapes, genre scenes?
The collection of one hundred engravings by Dalí on Dante’s Divine Comedy, of great artistic quality, stands out. It is located in a former 15th century palace, where Queen Juana de Avis and Queen Isabella the Catholic when she was a child stayed, of which only the original stone façade remains.
