The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Valdanzo is a transitional church from Romanesque to Gothic with numerous later modifications.

On the outside , the belfry stands out, flanked by a striking body of five bells.

Inside , the Romanesque main arch resting on beautiful medieval capitals and the sculptural ensemble of the Descent from the Cross, the work of a master image-maker with a marked personality, stand out.
