Founded in 1996, the PRADOREY winery is located within a 3000 hectare estate, of which 560 hectares are trellis-trained vineyards. The rest of the estate is made up of holm oak, pine and juniper forests as well as other crops, a livestock farm and a power station on the Duero River.

This estate was the property of Queen Isabella the Catholic until it passed into the hands of the Marquis of Denia, ancestor of Don Francisco Gómez Sandoval y Rojas, Duke of Lerma and favourite of Philip III, who had a palace built on this land to welcome the monarch on his regular visits.

That old palace, built in the Herrerian style, is nowadays, LA POSADA DE PRADOREY with 18 exquisite rooms.

At the Posada de Pradorey, you can walk through the same rooms that in the 17th century housed illustrious figures such as King Philip III, the Duke of Lerma, Lope de Vega or Rubens. Our strong point is to make guests feel at home.

La Posada de Pradorey is located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, surrounded by vineyards, 2 km from the winery of the same name, just 10 km from Aranda de Duero and only an hour and a half from Madrid.

Its location is ideal for exploring the Ribera del Duero region and visiting Aranda de Duero, Lerma, Burgos or Valladolid.

Among other facilities, the winery has a fermentation hall, a conservation hall, a homogenisation hall, an American and French oak barrel room and a wine museum.

It produces red, rosé and white wines under the name of PradoRey.

Bodegas PradoRey has a varied wine tourism offer that allows visitors to approach and explore the wine culture in a didactic and fun way.

Among its main activities are: guided visits to the winery, walks through the vineyards, wine tastings, sensory games, restaurant, accommodation, wine tasting and sale of wine, accessories and delicatessen. Informal lunches in the vineyard or at the PRADOREY Inn and services for companies. They develop special activities for groups, grape harvest activities and their famous Baroque Days in July.

Presentations, congresses and special events are organised.
