About
The house was founded in 1965 by D. Luis Alonso “Chuleta” and currently run by his son, the grill master Joaquín Alonso, who continues his father’s legacy with effort and enthusiasm. Castilian cuisine based on seasonal produce, prepared in the traditional way.
The house speciality is suckling lamb roasted in a wood-fired oven, in full view of the diners. It also offers a selection of products such as wild asparagus or peppered mushrooms, vine-shoot chops and grilled meats, seafood and fish such as the Chuleta (cuttlefish)…
The restaurant’s underground wine cellar, where wine tastings can be held, and the splendid terrace overlooking the beautiful valley of the River Duero are also worth mentioning.
It has three dining rooms with a capacity for 400 diners. A wide variety of tapas and rations at the bar. Menus for groups, companies, events and all kinds of celebrations.
