Founded in 1972, Tinto Pesquera is the dream come true of Alejandro Fernández, a self-made man.

Following the family tradition, learned from his father, Alejandro made wine every year with grapes from his small vineyards.

His first winery, a 16th century wine press, where the whole process was carried out, and his favourite grape, Tempranillo, with which he has been making all his wines ever since.

Of the 200 hectares currently owned by Tinto Pesquera, we can highlight the production of crianza, reserva and special wines such as Janús and Millenium.

GUIDED TOURS:

The visit consists of a tour of the old 16th century wine press where the first Tinto Pesquera wines were first produced, the modern winemaking facilities and barrel rooms, ending with a tasting of 3 wines from the Familia Fernández Rivera group and a tasting of our Dehesa la Granja cheese made in our winery in Vadillo de la Guareña (Zamora).

The approximate duration of the visit is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Payment for the visit must be made daily on arrival at the winery before the start of the visit or on the weekend in advance, by credit card by telephone or by bank transfer.
