Festivities in honour of the Virgen de Arriba 2024

Festivities in honour of the Virgen de Arriba: Independently of other Marian vocations, the patron saint of Hoyales is the Virgen de Arriba, a “dress image”, who has her royal seat in the hermitage of the same name. On the second Sunday in November, after the image has been lowered from its place in the parish church, the image is carried in procession and dances and open-air dances are organised at dusk.
