Pedraja de San Esteban has an area where calm and tranquillity is part of nature. We are talking about “Bocarros”, an area where in the past, when the fiestas were over, people used to celebrate the “pitanzas” with their friends, and thus bid farewell to the summer.

When the weather was good, the locals used it as a private swimming pool, but nowadays it has not been restored for this purpose and it is a great area for fishing, as there are plenty of crabs and barbel.
