“FROM THE CAVES TO THE STARS” A visit that will surprise you with its contrasts.
We will visit the HISTORICAL UNDERGROUND WINE CELLAR OF ISMAEL ARROYO-VALSOTILLO, in Sotillo de la Ribera, an authentic wine cathedral from the 16th century, with a TASTING OF TWO OF ITS WINES.
From there, from these underground “caves” we will go to visit the “star” of the Ribera, which stands in the town of Gumiel de Izán: BODEGAS PORTIA. Designed by Norman Foster, it is an avant-garde building in the Ribera del Duero and an icon of architecture in the world of wine. We will visit its modern facilities and TASTE TWO OF ITS WINES with an aperitif.
Continuing with this visit of “contrasts” we will enjoy a traditional Castilian menu at RESTAURANTE AITANA, a modern and cosy restaurant in Aranda de Duero: Lunch at Restaurante Aitana:
