► CASTILLA TERMAL MONASTERY OF VALBUENA
The spa hotel Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena is located in one of the best preserved Cistercian monasteries in Europe. The building dates back to the 12th century and has been converted into an exclusive tourist complex with 79 superior rooms. The thermal area covers more than 2,000 square metres, with 16 treatment cabins, several thermal pools, a contrast circuit and a children’s pool. Its mineral-medicinal waters are indicated for digestive and metabolic treatments, beneficial for liver cell activity and ideal for slimming therapies and stress processes.
The waters of the Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena Spa come from an aquifer 386 metres deep, with mineral-medicinal waters from the San Bernardo spring, whose waters were already used by the Cistercian monks to irrigate the vineyards that today form part of the Ribera del Duero denomination of origin.
- Mineral-medicinal thermal water pool with different jacuzzis, individual massage beds and seats with bubbles, a series of relaxing and decontracting jets, water curtains and cannons, as well as rest areas.

This boutique hotel has had this original SPA since June 2020 within the wine tourism complex located in the municipality of La Vid, in the Ribera del Duero region of Burgos.
In its WINE SPA you will be able to discover the similarity with a wine production circuit, as if you were inside the winery. The circuit consists of: heated pool, sauna, steam bath, spray shower, winter station, bithermal tropical shower, mist shower and relaxation room with heated hammocks. Approximate duration of the circuit: 1.5 hours, also for children!
