Stage 5 Camino del Cid (bicycles) Castillejo de Robledo - El Burgo de Osma

Stage 5 of the Camino del Cid for cycle touring.

The itinerary, with beautiful examples of rural Romanesque architecture, guides us through an interesting landscape of strong contrasts between the extensive Castilian moorlands and the Duero valley.

We leave Castillejo following secondary roads with little traffic and a patched road surface which, in its own way, makes them more attractive. In San Esteban de Gormaz we meet the Duero again, but our stage continues, now following more busy roads to El Burgo.

It runs between the riverside towns of Castillejo de Robledo, Valdanzo, Aldea de San Esteban, San Esteban de Gormaz and Alcubilla del Marqués.
