- After the new incorporations, the organisation now has 239 member establishments and 97 associated villages.

The Ribera del Duero Wine Route continues to increase its offer with new establishments that add up to a total of 239 services, reinforcing the entity as the Wine Route with the most services in Spain. During 2023, 16 new members have become part of the Route, adding 17 new services to it, among them 5 accommodations, 4 wineries, 4 restaurants, 4 companies dedicated to leisure. At the same time, a new municipality, Baños de Valdearados, known for its Roman Festival in Honour of Bacchus, declared of Regional Tourist Interest in 2020, has joined the Route.
The new wineries that have joined the Route are Zifar in Peñafiel, Valdebodega in San Bernardo and Virtus in Aldeayuso. In the case of the fourth winemaker, Bodegas Raíz, its membership also means the inclusion of the hotel of the same name, located in the same place. In terms of accommodation, this hotel is joined by: Casa La Cantina in La Horra, Hotel Rural Envero in Pesquera de Duero, Apartamentos San Antonio in Aranda de Duero and Casa Rural la Infanta in Caleruega. In gastronomic matters, the restaurants Curioso and Ágora de Protos in Peñafiel, El Viso in Gumiel de Mercado and El Nuevo Coto in Aranda have joined the consortium .
The leisure activities of the Ribera del Duero Wine Route increase in Peñafiel with La Bodega Tradicional La Olmilla and its offer of dramatised guided tours and shows. In Canalejas de Peñafiel, RF Trufas offers truffle tourism, visits to discover how a plantation of truffle oaks works and a tasting of this fungus. Peñaranda de Duero adds the A Cántaros Artistic Space, a place where you can discover more about ceramics and its history. Finally, the addition of the Soria Apple Route, in La Rasa, will offer a walk among the apple trees of the largest apple orchard in Europe, with more than 1,000 hectares planted.
Outlook for new additions by 2024
The Ribera del Duero Wine Route maintains a sustainable growth perspective for 2024 that will allow it to continue offering quality alternatives for visitors. In the coming months, it is expected to visit and audit new establishments that can be incorporated to the offer of the territory in order to further diversify the options for travellers. At the same time, new municipalities belonging to the Ribera del Duero have expressed interest in joining the Route.
In total, there are currently 14 establishments and municipalities that could add to the tourist options in the area this year.
5 familiarisation trips to get to know the Route
In the same way, the Route continues to work to improve internal communication, generating activities that bring members together, such as familiarisation trips or famtrips. Thanks to these trips, participants have been able to visit municipalities, wineries, wine cellars, museums and other entities. A total of five visits that began in May 2023 and which have taken the participants to different places within the territory such as San Esteban de Gormaz, Peñafiel, Quintanilla de Onésimo, San Bernardo, La Sequera, Haza or Montejo de la Vega, thus covering the four provinces that make up the Route.
More familiarisation trips are planned to continue throughout 2024. Through these trips, the partners have the opportunity to discover other tourist options and even create synergies between them.
