The Ribera del Duero Wine Route will once again be present at Sonorama Ribera, this time linking up with one of the festival’s most beloved stages, the one dedicated to comedy. The participation of the Route, which in recent years has been aimed at family tourism with Sonorama Baby, will focus on this occasion on the podcast space, from which three successful programmes will be broadcast live.

The new edition of Sonorama Ribera will take place in Aranda de Duero between 7 and 11 August and, once again, will be attended by big names from the national music scene, such as El Kanka, Luz Casal, Dani Fernández, Mikel Izal, Álvaro de Luna, Rozalén, Natos y Waor and Funko & Baby Loud.

In addition to its musical offer, the festival will once again focus on comedy with several performances, including three podcasts to be recorded from the “Escenario Humor”. For several years now, Sonorama Ribera has been bringing nationally recognised, award-winning sound creations and podcasts to the public, all with highly topical themes.

The first of this year’s podcasts can be seen on Thursday 8th and will be “Lo que me faltaba por ver”, a space that works to raise awareness about blindness through humour. On Friday, it will be the turn of “¿Quieres ser mi amigo?” (Do you want to be my friend?), which won an Ondas award. This podcast explores different topics through a conversation between two “acquaintances” who try to forge a true friendship. Finally, on Saturday, the event will feature the presence of “Territorio Revival”, a space dedicated to reliving sensations, through talks, recalling films, series, video games…

Once again, the Route maintains its commitment to Sonorama Ribera, which is one of the most important events in the area, reaffirming the union between wine and culture within the territory. The flow of visitors during the days of the festival are a fundamental revulsive for the tourism sector within the Ribera del Duero and its visibility at national and international level. The president of the Route, Miguel Ángel Gayubo, assures that “Sonorama Ribera is a great ally of the region, essential to promote the Wine Route through culture“.
