Cantamuda Winery

Bodegas Briones Abad, S.L. is a family-run business that began producing wine in 2010, although both families have had a long-standing connection with the vineyards.

The vineyards are situated at an altitude of between 800 and 940 metres and range in age from 14 to 95 years, with maximum yields of 4,000 to 4,500 kg/ha.

The climate is continental with slight Atlantic influences. Cold winters and warm summers with significant temperature variations between day and night, which contributes to a slower ripening of the grapes and allows for excellent acidity levels, with high fruit concentration.

Its 30 hectares of vineyards are cultivated with respect for the vines and the soil. Luis Ángel Briones and Carmen Abad take great care to find the balance between the grapes from the different plots, which vary in soil type and altitude, to achieve the perfect blend and ensure that every wine showcases all the aromas and flavours they offer.
