Stage 4 of the Camino del Cid for cycle touring.

From Peñaranda we return to the Camino going up the river Pilde.

The horizon is lost in the distance, dominated by a dry landscape combined with extensive juniper groves. When we reach San Esteban de Gormaz, the waters of the river Duero are protected by leafy groves, allowing the development of a fertile plain on its banks. The final stretch from Langa requires a final effort to climb the limestone moorland where Castillejo de Robledo is located. Rural Romanesque.

It runs between the riverside towns of Peñaranda de Duero, Casanova, Brazacorta, Alcoba de la Torre, Alcubilla de Avellaneda, Villálvaro, Matanza de Soria, San Esteban de Gormaz, Soto de San Esteban, Langa de Duero and Castillejo de Robledo.
